• Do I need a fishing license?

    No, you do not need a fishing license while fishing aboard my vessels.

  • Who keeps the fish caught?

    You do silly. If we have a great day the captain might ask for one or two for me and my son’s dinner.

  • Do you provide fish cleaning?

    Yes I provide fish cleaning. It is included on all trips except for full day nearshore and offshore trips. On those trips a fee of up to but not more than $100 will be assessed depending upon volume of the catch.

  • What deposit is required to secure a booking?

    My secure online booking system (Square Appointments) does not physically charge your card at the time of booking, but rather puts a no show hold against your card for the amount of 50% of the trips value. We then settle up at the end of the trip. Similar to holding a hotel room reservation.

  • What is your cancellation policy?

    My cancellation policy to avoid forfeiting your deposit is notice greater than two weeks prior to the booking. Please note in 12 years of business I have kept less than 5 deposits and in half of those situations I credited back the deposit on the next booking. I would rather reschedule and see you next month or next year. Life happens and I am more than willing to work with my clients for both parties interests. If I cancel on you, deposits are refunded.

  • What is your weather policy?

    If weather prevents us from going on our trip and we cannot reschedule or flex around the weather no deposits are collected and I look forward to seeing you next time. Please note that I have two boats and if the weather blows us out on your ocean trip, we can step back and jump on my inshore boat and still get out in the water for your angling adventure.

  • What should I bring?

    Sunscreen, hats, sunglasses, weather appropriate clothing, secure footwear. I do not provide food or drinks! Please feel free to bring your cooler or insulated bag with your drinks, snacks, food. If you do not have a cooler, please let me know ahead of time so I can have a food/drink cooler for use.

  • Do we need to bring our own fishing gear and tackle?

    No, I provide all gear, tackle, and bait necessary for our day of fishing. I provide cooler and ice for fish that are harvested. There are some times that a bait like live shrimp might be beneficial but due to limited availability it might have to be purchased. In those rare cases that cost will be discussed with the client prior to the trip for their aporoval.

  • Can I bring my own fishing tackle?

    Sure but let’s discuss prior to ensure it is appropriate for the days fishing and I can make room for carrying your gear.

  • Do you provide required safety gear?

    Yes I supply the USCG required safety gear. Children under the age of 13 are required to wear a life vest while underway. The coast guard type 1 vests are uncomfortable, if you have a more comfortable wearable life vest for your child please bring it. I have a couple available for small children so let me know to bring them if needed.

  • Do your boats have toilets?

    No my boats do not have toilets. Buckets and live wells are utilized as appropriate. For many of my inshore trips bathroom facilities can be accessed with a boat ride back to the marina.

  • Can you pick us up at our location or different location?

    Let’s discuss, but yes. There may be additional fees to cover fuel.

  • What forms of payment do you accept?

    Cash, credit card, Venmo, PayPal, and checks.

  • How long are your inshore trips?

    Inshore fishing charters run 4-8 hours targeting speckled trout, black drum, and flounder. All equipment is provided and trips are suitable for all skill levels.
  • Do you provide fishing equipment?

    Yes, all equipment is provided on our inshore charters. We supply everything needed for artificial and live bait fishing.
  • What fish do you target offshore?

    Our 10-12 hour deep sea expeditions target Tuna, Wahoo, Sailfish, Marlin, and other pelagic species using trolling and bottom fishing techniques.
  • Do you clean caught fish?

    Yes, we offer professional fish cleaning and preparation services. Your caught fish will be cleaned and ready to take home after your charter.
  • Are your trips good for kids?

    Absolutely. Our family fishing trips feature kid-friendly adventures with patient instruction and age-appropriate techniques to create memorable family experiences.
